CONNEXX operates within the Microsoft® Windows® environment. Like Windows, CONNEXX has an intuitive graphic interface. For you, that means it's easy to learn and easy to use. You'll immediately gain a new appreciation and understanding of what advanced technology hearing instruments can mean to you and your patients.

CONNEXX uses the industry standard HI-PRO™ hardware interface to program Siemens advanced technology hearing instruments.

CONNEXX is a powerful consultation tool that demonstrates a hearing loss to a patient, and explains how the selection of the appropriate hearing instrument can impact the end result of the fitting.

From Audiogram to Result

Simply enter the patient's audiogram, or download the audiometric data from any compatible audiometer. Make your choice from a popular list of prescriptive fitting methods. Select any Siemens advanced technology programmable hearing instrument. CONNEXX will then use its automated First Fit™ function to optimize the hearing instrument to the prescriptive fitting selected for your patient.

First Fit is designed to give you a head start on the road to a successful fitting by automatically programming the instrument based upon your patient's audiometric data. Once First Fit programs the initial settings, the fitting can be further fine-tuned easily using the Fitting Assistant if necessary. And, if you have a multi-media computer with CD-ROM and speakers, you can use the integrated CD software control within CONNEXX to play sound samples to fine tune the fitting.

Of course, using the automated help features is optional. If you're a power user and prefer to do your own thing, an incredible selection of menus and features is right at your fingertips within CONNEXX.

Speed Combined With Pinpoint Accuracy

Fitting advanced technology programmable hearing instruments can be made simple. CONNEXX eliminates the guesswork and much of the time needed to fit multi-band, multi-memory compression hearing aids.

Compression kneepoint and compression ratio adjustment can be automatic or manual, and the results of these settings can be clearly seen on the computer display screen.

If you're looking for guidance to fit a second, third, or fourth memory, look no further than Siemens program selection feature. Simply select from up to ten popular listening environments such as: quiet, inside a car, or inside a restaurant, for example.

CONNEXX offers suggestions and programs these suggestions for you. Fine tuning the response is easy with the intuitive graphic interface. Some hearing instruments can be adjusted with Fitting Assistant, a powerful tool which offers to make proposed changes to hearing instrument settings based on the wearer's description of the listening experience.

CONNEXX provides a full PC interface to all Siemens brand programmable instruments. The software provides a full view of range of adjustment for all controls on screen. Plus, it contains a patient database, as well as audiometric models.
