Audiometer

The UNITY™ Audiometer is a two-channel, software-based diagnostic audiometer. As your hearing testing needs evolve, so can your audiometer, thanks to simple software upgrades. After adding your client to your NOAH™ or UNITY database, clicking the audiometer icon puts you in the driver's seat.

The UNITY audiometer allows two air conduction transducer calibrations. For example, changing TDH-39s and Insert or High-Frequency phones becomes as easy as clicking your mouse, making correction factors a thing of the past!

Tone audiometry testing is made simpler by using your computer mouse, the standard integrated audiometer control keyboard, or a combination of the two. Speech audiometry can be performed via live voice or recorded speech using your computer's CD ROM drive, or any compatible external CD player. When using the computer's CD ROM drive, the controls for your CD are on your audiometer screen. The on-screen counter and calculator make word recognition tests easy to score. The UNITY Audiometer also features special tests, including, but not limited, to SISI, Automated Tone Decay and Ipsilateral Speech-in-Noise.

Once you complete the hearing test, use the UNITY Flexible Print feature to design the audiogram layout of your choice, including audiograms for the Departments of Veterans Affairs. There is virtually no limitation on custom designing your audiogram printout. The Flexible Print feature also lets you include your summary report on the audiogram printout. Finally, the hearing test results can be saved to your NOAH or UNITY database where they are stored for future use.
