Advanced noise reduction and speech enhancement

ARTIS features digital noise reduction and speech enhancement in 12 independent channels, to minimize intrusive noises without compromising speech intelligibility. It also offers a high-speed feedback cancellation system that constantly analyzes incoming signals and continuously reacts to avoid any feedback. This phase cancellation system preserves critical high frequency amplification that is so important for speech understanding.

An automatic advantage

  • ARTIS directional models feature an automatic, multi-channel adaptive directional microphone system.
    • This advanced feature gives your patients a clear advantage over other mid-range instruments. Only multi-channel adaptive directional microphones can reduce multiple moving noise sources to give your patients the performance they need in dynamic listening environments.
  • They also feature long term stability, thanks to automatic phase and amplitude matching.
    • This superior technology is available in a wide range of styles, even smaller ARTIS custom models.
  • AutoPhone, available for most custom and BTE models, makes using the telephone easier than ever.
    • AutoPhone automatically switches to a telephone or telecoil program when used with hearing instrument compatible telephones. AutoPhone can even be used with cellular and cordless telephones using a small magnet accessory.

New nanocoated housing

ARTIS BTE models now feature nanocoated housings, a new technology that repels water, sweat, and other adherents to prevent corrosion and improve reliability.
